On September 24, during his visit to Hangzhou for the 19th Asian Games' opening ceremony, Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao of Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste met with Hu Xingrong, Chairman of Duofu Group.

Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao  expressed that Timor-Leste’s market presents abundant opportunities and welcomed Duofu Group’s investment and active role in the country. He hoped for strengthened cooperation in energy development, industrial revitalization, and the sharing of more development opportunities and benefits.

Chairman Hu Xingrong emphasized Duofu Group’s enduring commitment to international development and its significant focus on the Southeast Asian market, where it established its business presence many years ago. With Prime Minister  Kay Rala Xanana Gusmao’s strong support, Duofu Group is eager to contribute to Timor-Leste’s economic, social development, and modernization, thereby promoting comprehensive strategic partnerships in the Middle East.

During the meeting, representatives from various sectors of Duofu Group engaged in extensive and in-depth discussions with Timor-Leste.
