On October 30, 2023, at 16:16 PM, Jiangsu Youfu Sheet Technology Co., Ltd. achieved a remarkable feat in independent innovation. The 200,000 tons/year electroplated chromium sheet production line, autonomously integrated by the Youfu technical team from project initiation to installation and production, was officially launched in just 10 months.

This electroplated chromium sheet production line, featuring independent design, integration, and a complete set of equipment, not only matches imported equipment in both production speed and capacity but also represents a leading Chinese standard. Liang Zepeng, General Manager of Youfu Sheet, explained that the commissioning of the electroplated chromium sheet line signifies that Youfu Sheet now possesses the production capability for tin-plated and chromium-plated products in the field of metal packaging. The expanded product range is anticipated to elevate the company’s competitiveness within the sector, paving the way for breakthroughs in both capacity and sales.

Li Zhenyu, Vice President of Duofu Group, highlighted that these advancements stem from Youfu’s unwavering commitment to independent innovation, further bolstered by support from its parent company, Duofu Group. Youfu is currently focused on the construction of the continuous annealing line, slated for launch in the first half of next year, signifying a high-quality transition from BA sheet to CA sheet. Meanwhile, Duofu Group is set to increase its investment in Youfu Sheet, positioning it to become the foremost metal packaging hub in China.
